Just this idea of Spitfire chilling on the wing of a Spitfire. At least what it's suppousted to be a Spitfire, I am no plane expert, I just remember it being the first plane I really liked as a kid.

Well, I did this one, when I still wasn't too sure with the anatomy. So I had my friend, who is much more knowledgable on the subject, help me and this is how she suggested it. If anything, when I look at it now, maybe I should have moved the bottom leg little more to the right. If you mean the hind legs anyway. Thanks for the input.

I absolutely love this picture, but since others have brought it up first, I feel I can ask you to indulge me for a moment. What I say now is in response to other comments; from what is visible, I believe that this plane is neither a Spitfire, nor a Mustang as "mobuislead147" suggested. Again, I can't be certain, but from what's visible of the plane, I think this is a Hawker Hurricane. I draw this conclusion mostly from the crossbar on the cockpit glass, which is not angled forward, as on the Spitfire, and the wing contours, which are not completely straight, as on the Mustang. Once again, I love the picture, but the discussion already in place and my absurd interest in aviation history forced my hand. I am truly sorry for subjecting you to my verbosity.
